Visitors to this site that do not post.
Apparently, there are around 300 visitors to this website per day, that don't post at all. I'd like to ask why? I know that lots of us visit the site, see that there are no new posts, and then go off to visit the other relevant sites etc. Now I am, as are most of you, a frequent visitor to a number of sites relating to Jap motors. Primarily myself it's Honda sites for the obvious reasons Many of the members on those sites tell me that they don't come here too often as it's not very busy But it will only get busy with more visitors who then go on to post So come on people, lets have a posting war, and a reply war as well whilst we are at it. If you intend on visiting, then why not just post anyways What I'd really like to do is get a survey/questionaire on here to assess: Who is visiting? Why? Age? Job? and many other questions too. So I need to know, would anyone be against answering a few not so personal questions if I were to draw up such a survey/questionaire?

I come on here, look around and see if there's any audio stuff people need help with, other than that i'm useless for tuning info!
This site used to be sooo busy, i really hope it can be promoted to that level of interest again.

Paul. ahh i maybe online on facebook but its just in the background like most other things and again its just a post or a photo coment here and there like others have said, not owning a jdm car does put a dampner on things and my tuning knowledge isnt really much. You know over the years ive put the effort in to try and get this forum up and running again.

Re: Visitors to this site that do not post.
I know that most people on Jap sites know about this place but as you say they come and see its not busy and not many new post so bugger off again. I just think that your meets are the biggest thing that draw people in so use that to your advantage. You talk about doing a raffle, why not just have a competition, say something like the person who takes the most photos at the meet wins a prize for their car. That way more members will get involved with the club and gives them more of interest in the forum. You need to get out there and advertise the site on the other forums again, I know on most of the forums I peruse that it is their own members that post up details of your meets. maybee you could make a template and edit the finer details every month then all the mods go copy and paste it around all the forums. Its bound to get you more people posting. Also make a load of random threads for various things to get people posting, im sure there are loads out there on the other forums you are all a part of the you can copy. I hope I'm not being a pain I just want to try help you guys out, I would hate to see this place get any quieter and I know how hard it is to get people involved with the club and posting on the forum (being a moderator myself). These are just a few thing we try and do on our forum maybee even try and revive some popular threads from the past. Anyway guys im sure im being annoying now as you probably know everything I just said so I will get my coat All the best and hope things pic up, see you all tonight

Re: Visitors to this site that do not post.
Does need a injection of something. The Blackpool run and shoot ends with negative comments as does the last Monday meet That is what people see when mooching round the site and will obviously put them off guys. It is a shame to see this forum like this. How a bout a joint meet with another generic Jap club not too far away

Re: Visitors to this site that do not post.
The only thing i could say is maybe organise a couple more meets different days, different locations ect. I would like to use this site more and maybe get to know you guys. I have been to a few meets at a car park behind Krispy Kreme at the Trafford centre no one seems to mind you being there and also you never get idiots going there and it is a big car park. (And a 2 second walk to get Donuts ). I will answer the questionnaire or survey aswell. Also i good meet would be a rolling road meet i recently went to one in yorkshire and they had a great turnout so i would consider someone organising one maybe with TDI warrington. Anyway expect to see me more Thanks Craig
