 Re: Turbo Gauge (MR2 Turbo)
i do have a manual boost control but it aint fitted yet, no idea what a TVSV system is and yes mainly 4th, dont get much chance to get into 5th but I'd say, i cant get pass about 4500 revs before i have to take my foot off before the turbo bout to go off the scale and fuel cut kick in.
Can anyone then recommend a place who will look at it as close to manchester as poss??
thx

 Re: Turbo Gauge (MR2 Turbo)
cheers Dan, I'll keep him in mind. I ended up going to a place called RE Performance Centre in Bury, and I'd like to add they new exactly what they were doing (obviously u'd hope so but...,) Needless to say I was a bit confused. I took it to a place in Preston yesterday but it was one of those olde timey places that the turbo needed to be off the car for them to look. he was a nice, but old, gent and had a look anyway. he put a cable tie round a loose looking pipe - still had the prob on the way home though. Today when I took it, told the guy about the cable and left it with him for an hour. he did all the tests, mainly while i was there and he said there was no prob with turbo or boost and it was kickin out 175hp at the back wheels (game on!) On the way home the turbo gauge was fine?? I wonder if the pipe he took off to attach the thingy-me-bob (technical term of course) with his own gauge was loose? maybe messing up mine till he reattached it and it was fine?? Anywhoo, its spot on now. gonna get me a non standard gauge though. (worried about the only 60000 charachters rule. I just wanna apologise about last nights meet aswell. I put my name down but after driving to preston, bolton, stockport trying to find somewhere to sort my car - i had a leek somewhere, from something which i was worried about, oh and just for an extra kick in the balls, i got a niiice scrape round my 10 day old alloys - GRRRRREAT!
