Just thought I would share this with you guys, my mate has just recently bought himself a Nissan Sunny GTI it was bought as a non runner for a very very cheap price the guy he bought it from explained that the car ran fine until he heard a slight bang come from the engine so he pulled over and noticed smoke comming from the engine bay so just called recovery and got towed back to his house. He explained that the next day he had a good look round the engine and couldnt see anything wrong so tried to start it which it wouldnt. Long story short the guy sold it very cheap as a non runner to my mate who had a spare N/A SR20 lying around so he thought I will just bung the engine in on beginning to strip the old engine all became very clear as to what the 'slight' bang was



The guy couldnt see this damage because it was under the exhaust manifold but it must have been some bang LOL
