 noobie with a scooby
Morning, Found his place after seeing a link to it on the Scoobynet forum. I've had a quick poke around and it looks like a good site. I've just spotted the JDM allstars show at the Trafford centre so might nip up there later on! Wouldn't have know about that if it wasn't for seeing it on here! Anyway, I've had a few BMW's and a Mini CooperS (which my girlfriend now drives) but have always fancied a Subaru of some description. I've been keeping an eye out for a Forester but my budget wouldn't quite stretch to the ones i liked the look of and i started to be drawn towards the Impreza... I needed a car that's big enough for camping gear and a couple of dogs and the Impreza wagon's boot space surprised me, especially with the seats down! There's only the 2 of us so folding the back seat down isn't a problem. After months of looking for a standard car with low mileage and full service history, I found an Imprexa WRX with Prodrive performance pack. It's only got 62k miles on, with full subaru history and is completely standard. Only had the car for a week and chuffed to bits with it. Here's it is....

Thank you I'm in Warrington... I have since fitted the car with some BK299's. I'll post some pics if my pc here in work is capable of it

 Re: noobie with a scooby
When i bought the car, 2 of the tyres were near the legal limit. Anyway, after shopping around for tyres, I ended up having a nosey on the Wheelbase website, where i've bought wheels from for my previous 2 cars. Decided i liked the look of BK 299's but they only had gold on the website. Went down there for a nosey and they had a set of Anthracite 299's in stock and here's how they look on the car... Ended up going for Toyo's again and i'm very happy with them so far. There's only a touch more than a gnats willy between the calliper and the wheel but they've been fine. They're quite understated which is the look i was going for

 Re: noobie with a scooby
Cheers... I'm made up with them, although they do look smaller than the standard wheels, which is a bit odd as they're exactly the same size
