cheers for the tip fella, one of the reasons i joined is becouse i dont know starlets that well and i dont know what goes on them fast etc, just need a few buying tips really

Yeah no probs dude obviously theres making sure that its not been battered and check service history if there full service history your laughing mate but yeah the main thing i would check is oil.

Yeah they are 133bhp standard but my aim is 200bhp i not going for anything more than that.

All depends where it's been serviced  Anyone with a mechanic for a friend can get a service book stamped up, and up to date, without any of the work having actually being carried out So be extra careful

yeah anymore than 200 in a car that small might be a little scary haha, and cheers dan ill be careful not to buy myself a shit motor, really cant afford to make any mistakes lol

Yeah 200bhp is a nice power to have in these unless your really lucky to get a 4 wheel drive starlet then i would want more  but i have been in a 200+ starlet and it was very very quick would show a lot of the big boys up.

I'll bet they'd whip loads of the big cars into shape, as the power to weight ratio (bhp&torque per tonne) must be phenomenal

Well i might have my new one VERY soon that soon i might be turbo for the next meet  but this one is staying with me im not selling it yet.
