The laquer is peeling in a few places on my new car. The paint is fine underneath it. Is it possible to re-laquer the bits that need doing and stop it getting worse?

if the car is original its likely you can get away with it ! takes some careful flatting with micro fine paper and you can re laquer it . if its been painted before its likely it will soften whats underneath , which will lead to mapping out (circles in the laquer) . i'll have a look for ya
