In a word, yes can see that being a biatch of a job! wait till it needs a clutch fella, then drop a Fidanza Flywheel in there at the same time!

Rev up easier, more responsive, less weight for the engine to spin over
Got one on mine and will let you know how it is once i've had chance to drive it

Hi,
It is a pain in the arse mate. you have to prop the gearbox on a stand/engine hoist, undo the engine mount, undo the bolts (after taking all the intake off the top to get to the bolts) and drop the box down, which weighs about 50kg.
The hard bit is mating all the pins up when you put it back on and getting it bolted together - not an easy feat when your under the car.
Saying that I did it on mine, so it is possible.
If it's just noisy then wait til you need a clutch. You sure it's the release bearing and not the gearbox oil level or something?
A flywheel will do wat jones said, but it also makes it easier to stall the car as you have less inertia in the flywheel.....
Paul.
